Friday, April 4th Update

Not much to report tonight, other than yet another increase in her feeding. Hopefully by next week she will start taking a bottle, and the feeding tube will be removed thereafter. The sucking mechanism doesn't seem to develop in babies until about the 34th week. And after that we hope that she is able to breast feed (my freezer is getting overflowed from the constant demand of the breast pump, I should just carry it around with me!) Other than that, Ellie is stable, and bounces back from any breathing problems she has had on her own. She looks and acts so much better. It is amazing the progress she has made in just a week!

Thank You Gramie!!

My mom left us today, and we were all very sad to see her go, especially her new B.F.F. Ava. Wherever Ava wandered off to, my mom was always three steps behind her, accommodating her every demand. Although they did get into a couple of little "disagreements" they have been like frick and frack for the passed two weeks. I couldn't have managed to get by without my mommy's help, and I know Ava was in desperate need of attention, so I could not be more grateful for the time she devoted to us. Ava pretty much summed up the feeling in our household tonight when she blurted out "I miss it my Gramie!" Thank you so much Mom, we love you!
