Thank You Gramie!!
My mom left us today, and we were all very sad to see her go, especially her new B.F.F. Ava. Wherever Ava wandered off to, my mom was always three steps behind her, accommodating her every demand. Although they did get into a couple of little "disagreements" they have been like frick and frack for the passed two weeks. I couldn't have managed to get by without my mommy's help, and I know Ava was in desperate need of attention, so I could not be more grateful for the time she devoted to us. Ava pretty much summed up the feeling in our household tonight when she blurted out "I miss it my Gramie!" Thank you so much Mom, we love you!

"Miss it my Ava" too!
The past couple of weeks started on a very stressful, emotional level for me both as Mom and Gramie.
The urgent calls.
Sarah, I can hear the fear in your voice.
Your cring, I left Ava!
...C-section now!
I hang up and now I cry "it's too early, Ellie will be so tiny, her lungs? They can't stop Sarah's bleeding."
Throw clothes in a bag... I'm so far away... I feel so helpless...
I arrive to find Sarah in recovery but still bleeding too much. Ellie is 3lbs 10oz and fighting for every breath. We will get through this...We will be strong..."Fight Sarah Fight"
Weeks have passed and I leave to go home happy, proud and much less stressed.
I am happy to hold her, to see how well Ellie is doing she gets stronger everyday. She is tiny but a fighter. She is a beautiful baby girl.
Sar, I watched you make a very quick recovery. Your inner strenght and determination have once again amazed me. I am so proud of you. Your strenght is Ellie's lifeline. She gets stronger each day because of your voice, your touch, your love. Ellie is a very lucky "little noddle" to have a Mommy and Daddy and "big sistar" that love her so much. Soon you will have her home!
These weeks have been just wonderful for me. Thank you for letting me share in this time with you.
I will miss my B.F.F. very much. This time with Ava will always be special to me. Grandbabies are truly the greatest gifts in life. I am blessed
Tell Ava Gramie says "miss you, love you, see you soon"
I love you all very much, give the girls kisses for me.
