Sunday March 30th Update

Ellie looked good today. She is still under the photo therapy lights. The lung tube was clamped this afternoon again, there had been a decrease in the air bubbles and liquid coming from the tube, yeah! She is still breathing the room air on her own. They increased her feedings from 3 cc's of breast milk to 8 cc's. We really hope that she will start gaining weight this week. She responded to her daddy's voice today, she was really excited to hear him. She even opened her eyes and had some good visits with her Nini, Gigi, and Pop-pop. The nurse had said that she has turned a difficult corner, and should begin really improving on a daily basis.
